If you're reading this, chances are you already know what it feels like: the excitement, the uncertainty, the late-night studying, the moments of deep inspiration mixed with "wait, am I doing this right?" That feeling of standing at the beginning of something enormous, knowing your life is about to change forever.

I know that feeling intimately because I lived it myself. My name is Yael, and with deep gratitude to Hashem, I have completed my Orthodox Jewish conversion. The journey that once felt impossibly long is now part of who I am, and the people, prayers, study, tears and joys along the way have shaped me forever.

I created Jewish Path because I wanted to build the resource I wished had existed when I first started. When I began studying for my conversion, I spent hours searching for clear, organized, beginner-friendly materials, and found very little. So much of what's out there assumes you already know things that nobody actually taught you yet, and I wanted to change that.

Now that I've stood before the Beit Din and immersed in the mikveh, this site has become something even more meaningful to me. It is my way of honouring everyone who supported me: my rabbis, my Beit Din, my community, and the religious family who took me in, guided me and taught me throughout the entire journey. I want to pass the same kindness forward to those still walking the path I once walked.

The heart of this project is rooted in one of the most beautiful principles in Judaism: Gemilut Chasadim, acts of loving kindness. The Talmud teaches that the world stands on three pillars: Torah, prayer, and acts of kindness toward others. Helping a fellow human being is not just a nice thing to do in Judaism; it is a sacred obligation, a core part of what it means to have a Jewish soul.

This website is my small act of Gemilut Chasadim, and my heartfelt todah rabbah to Hashem for bringing me home. If even one person finds comfort, clarity, or confidence here, then every hour spent building it was worth it.

I want you to know that you are not alone on this journey. Whatever stage you're at, whether you're just curious, actively studying, or preparing for your Beit Din, there is someone out here who understands, who cares, and who is cheering you on. I've been where you are, and I promise that the path is real, and it leads home.
