Maimonides (Rambam) formulated 13 Principles of Faith that are considered the theological foundation of Judaism. They include: (1) God exists, (2) God is one, (3) God has no body, (4) God is eternal, (5) Pray only to God, (6) The prophets are true, (7) Moses is the greatest prophet, (8) The Torah was given from heaven, (9) The Torah will not change, (10) God knows human actions, (11) Reward and punishment, (12) The Messiah will come, (13) Resurrection of the dead.
