Peah, Leket, and Shikchah are three Torah-mandated agricultural gifts for the poor: Peah, leaving a corner of the field unharvested; Leket, individual stalks that fall during harvesting belong to the poor; Shikchah, sheaves forgotten in the field must be left for the poor. These laws apply specifically in the Land of Israel and teach that our wealth ultimately belongs to God, who commands us to share with those in need.
