What are the Four Species?
Lulav (palm), Hadas (myrtle), Arava (willow), and Etrog (citron)
Source: Vayikra 23:40
In detail
The Four Species (Arba'at HaMinim) are held together and waved during Sukkot prayers: Lulav (palm branch), Hadas (3 myrtle branches), Arava (2 willow branches), and Etrog (citron fruit). They represent different types of Jews: some with Torah knowledge, some with good deeds, some with both, some with neither, yet all are held together in unity.
