A kosher kitchen requires completely separate sets of utensils for meat and dairy: separate pots, pans, plates, cutlery, dish towels, and ideally separate sinks or dishwashing areas. Glass utensils are treated more leniently by some authorities, since glass doesn't absorb flavors, it can be used for both after thorough washing (Sephardic view). Ashkenazi practice is stricter with glass as well. Many mark meat utensils with red and dairy with blue.
