    God brought 10 plagues upon Egypt to compel Pharaoh to free the Israelites: (1) Blood: the Nile turned to blood, (2) Frogs, (3) Lice, (4) Wild Beasts, (5) Pestilence on livestock, (6) Boils, (7) Hail mixed with fire, (8) Locusts, (9) Darkness for three days, (10) Death of the Firstborn, the final plague that broke Pharaoh's resistance.
